1. Introduction and Purpose
At Third Eyed Consulting Services, we believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance while ensuring uninterrupted, high-quality service delivery to our clients. This policy defines the standard working hours, attendance tracking protocols, and the procedures for availing various types of leaves through the firm’s HRMS portal.
2. Standard Working Hours and Attendance
- Business Hours: The standard operating hours for the firm are from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. (Note: Adjust days/times as per your actual firm schedule).
- Daily Check-in: All employees must log their attendance daily upon starting work via the
teams.thirdeyed.inportal. - Timesheets: Consultants and associates are required to log their daily project hours and client-billable time accurately in the system by the end of each working day.
- Punctuality: Consistent tardiness or failure to log attendance without prior intimation to the reporting manager will be treated as a breach of professional conduct and may result in a loss of pay.
3. Leave Categories and Entitlement
Employees are entitled to the following leave categories annually (prorated for employees joining mid-year). All leave balances can be viewed on the HRMS dashboard.
- Casual Leave (CL): Intended for unforeseen personal matters or emergencies. CL cannot be carried forward to the next financial year and cannot be combined with other types of leaves.
- Sick Leave (SL): To be used in the event of illness or medical emergencies. For sick leave extending beyond two (2) consecutive days, a registered medical practitioner’s certificate must be uploaded to the portal.
- Earned / Privilege Leave (EL/PL): Planned leaves for vacations or extended rest. A minimum of 15 days’ notice must be provided and approved by the reporting manager to ensure client deliverables are not impacted. A portion of unused EL may be carried forward as per statutory guidelines.
- Maternity and Paternity Leave: Granted in strict accordance with statutory government regulations. Employees must notify HR well in advance to ensure project handovers.
4. Public and National Holidays
- Third Eyed Consulting Services observes all mandatory national holidays and a predefined list of regional/festival holidays.
- The official holiday calendar will be published on
teams.thirdeyed.inat the beginning of each calendar year.
5. Leave Application and Approval Process
- Digital Workflow: All leave requests must be submitted exclusively through the
teams.thirdeyed.inportal. Verbal or text message requests will not be recognized as official leave. - Approval: Leaves are not considered granted until formally approved by the reporting manager via the system. Approval is subject to project deadlines and client commitments.
- Unapproved Absence: Absence from work without prior approved leave (Loss of Pay/Absenteeism) disrupts client services. Unauthorized absence for more than three (3) consecutive working days may be considered job abandonment.
6. Remote Work and Client-Site Visits
- Client Deployments: Employees deployed to a client’s site must adhere to the client’s working hours while continuing to log their attendance and timesheets on the firm’s HRMS.
- Remote Work: If an employee is permitted to work remotely, they must ensure they have a secure internet connection, remain accessible via firm communication channels during standard business hours, and strictly adhere to the Data Protection Policy.
